An important part of our mission is to educate and inspire you. We are committed to shine a light on the causes we care about and see as an important focus in our society. To advocate for those that need a voice, those that have not been heard, or those that need a chance.
We have chosen the name EDUCATE AND INSPIRE for this effort because when you know better, you do better. EDUCATE AND INSPIRE speaks to the two actions necessary to create change. So the intention is to first to educate, give you knowledge and insight and then inspire you to take action.
In these challenging times, the focus is in helping to bring people to a place of understanding that they haven't been able to get to on their own. To offer you a perspective that you might not have had, give you resources to learn and grow by giving you more information. And challenging you to be brave and act with courage in helping us to create change.
ADVOCACY and ANTI-RACISM
June 2020: During these unprecedented times of chaos and unrest, we know many of you are feeling uncomfortable. I am too, so I know that I must do something. Not only must I do what I can to look at myself and commit to do better, I know I need to help others do the same. A group of us joined forces to create an Edu-Series on having Uncomfortable Conversations with ourselves and others. We also have gathered some incredible resources to educate further on this important topic.
